Here at the HLLTC, we work tirelessly to ensure a healthy, happy, purpose-driven online gaming experience. It is the duty of every HLLTC member to uphold the camp rules/policies, not just here in the HQ, on the HLLTC's official Discord, and in-game, but everywhere we roam.
Basic Rules:
1) Be kind
2) Be patient
3) Lead by example
Zero-tolerance Policies:
1) No Game or Dev-bashing
Regardless of the games we play, bashing the games' developers causes more problems than it solves. The HLLTC HQ and the HLLTC's official Discord are NOT the places to air gripes, private grievances, or one's personal displeasure with aspects of any games or its developers. If a camp member has a complaint about a game, a feature suggestion, or a technical issue that needs addressing, please visit the particular game's support forum on Steam (ex: HLL Steam Support).
2) No Camp Program Slamming
The HLL Training Camp has a singular vision. That vision is to create and maintain an online environment in which casual players and game enthusiasts alike can elevate their gaming experiences through real friendships, the open sharing of game-specific META and mechanics, and, of course, by joining in amazing team-oriented gameplay.
3) No PDC or "Public Displays of Conflict" PDA in any form is not tolerated in the Hell Let Loose Training Camp (HLLTC). Differences of opinion are inevitable, and text comms are notoriously vulnerable to misunderstandings. If a conflict arises, take it to "The Octagon" voice channel in the HLLTC Discord, and follow the "Basic Rules" outline above. Members ordered to go to "The Octagon" by a ranking camp member must do so. If the conflict persists, contact an OPT or above. All parties will be given passkeys to "The War Room" on Discord for conflict resolution.
Lastly, the HLLTC is a 16+ online gaming community. However, we understand that maturity is not defined in years but in character. That said, the HLLTC's online environment should be considered "PG-13". Parental discretion is advised for members as young as 13. The HLLTC reserves the right to kick, ban, or otherwise block community access for any player who does not meet this standard or is deemed too immature to participate.
If you have any questions or comments, please post them in General Discussions. Your question or comment may help others in the community.
Sincerely,
